From 8 to 12 September 2026, the global automotive aftermarket meets in Frankfurt am Main. Our refrigeration team will be on site all week — and we are happy to come to you: to your stand, to a meeting area, or for a coffee between appointments.

Everything from a single source

Anyone servicing vehicle air conditioning today works with several refrigerant generations in parallel, with different oil specifications, and with a regulatory framework that keeps being tightened. In many businesses, that is spread across four or five suppliers.

At AGATEX, it comes from one source:

• R-1234yf — the standard in every passenger car newly registered since 2017
• R-134a — for the existing vehicle parc, commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery
• R-744 (CO₂) — for heat pumps and thermal management in electric vehicles
• Refrigeration oils, additives, leak detection agents and flushing products for the whole circuit

Thanks to our own filling plant, you decide the format: from workshop cylinders to bulk supply for entire service networks, with your own label as a trade brand if you want it.

Experience since 1921

AGATEX was founded in 1921 and is run today as a family business in the fifth generation. From Upper Austria, we supply customers in more than 40 countries.

We are not a trader with a warehouse attached. We are a chemical company with our own analytics and our own filling operation. Purity analysis, batch traceability and labelling all sit under our own roof. Questions about oil compatibility, residual moisture or specifications are answered here by people from the laboratory — not by a datasheet.

F-Gas Regulation advice

Regulation (EU) 2024/573 affects practically everyone handling refrigerants. Because we fill, label and ship internationally ourselves, we apply the framework every day. We pass that experience on:

• Which certifications your business and your personnel need
• Which record-keeping and reporting obligations apply
• Which labelling and GWP declaration is mandatory — particularly under your own brand
• Which containers are permitted
• How ADR-compliant dangerous goods handling works in practice
